Product Information
1. Do you have samples available?
All of our products are available for purchase in convenient 100ml sizes, offered either individually or in 100ml combos, allowing you to easily try and find the perfect fit for your needs.
2. Can IntrinsiCurly Me be used on colour-treated or highlighted hair?
Our range is 100% colour-safe and will not change your natural colour. If anything, it will add shine and gloss!
3. Can I use IntrinsiCurly Me on my child?
Our products are thoroughly tested and completely safe for toddlers and children. You can use them with confidence on your little ones.
4. Is IntrinsiCurly Me natural?
We do have a lot of natural ingredients in our formulas, but the products are not 100% natural. That being said, all our products are Curly Girl Method (CGM) friendly, which means they contain no sulphates, no silicones, no waxes or mineral oils, no drying alcohols, and no parabens.
5. Do IntrinsiCurly Me products contain preservatives?
Yes, all our products are formulated with preservatives to ensure a shelf life of 2 years. Producing products without preservatives is not safe.
6. Is IntrinsiCurly Me Recyclable or Biodegradable?
We strive to incorporate a wide range of ingredients derived from natural sources that are biodegradable while ensuring our products maintain their effectiveness. However, it's important to note that our products are not entirely 100% biodegradable. Please note that our product packaging is recyclable, but not 100% biodegradable.
7. Are your products Vegan?
Yes, all our products are 100% vegan, made without any animal-derived ingredients.
8. Do you test products on animals?
No, we do not test our products on animals, and all our products are cruelty-free and free from animal-derived ingredients.
9. Are there any known allergens in your products?
Yes, some of our products contain traces of nut oils.
Usage Instructions
10. How do you use IntrinsiCurly Me products?
Please make sure to watch our videos as using IntrinsiCurly Me is a little different to how you may be used to washing, conditioning, and styling. The link to the videos on how to use our products is here: How to Use IntrinsiCurly Me.
11. Will IntrinsiCurly Me help after heat/colour damage?
Our products will help by moisturising and hydrating the hair. Our products are also formulated to enhance your natural curl pattern as well as keep your scalp happy. With time this should help to restore your curls.
Depending on how bad the damage is, you may find that your curls return fully or partially. If the damage is severe, you may need to trim the ends to remove the damage.
12. Can IntrinsiCurly Me be used on permed hair?
Our range works stunningly on permed hair. If you need a product recommendation, kindly send us a photo of your natural hair and also your hair after the perm.
13. Can I combine IntrinsiCurly Me products with other brands?
At IntrinsiCurly Me, we believe that laying a good foundation with the right wash and condition techniques and products is key to achieving beautiful, bouncy curls. That's why we recommend starting with a combo. Our combos are specially curated to provide you with everything you need for a successful wash day. By using all of our products together, you'll set yourself up for the best possible results.
Using other products are therefor not recommended as they may not be CGM (Curly Girl Method) approved will counteract the effects of our range. If you are unsure, feel free to contact us and we will gladly provide advice.
14. How can I find the right products for my hair type?

Alternatively, to help us give you the best possible product recommendation for your specific haircare needs and curl type, could you please send us a few photos of your natural hair, preferably air-dried or diffused? Additionally, it would be helpful to know a bit more about your hair history and the products you currently use.
15. Can I get a consultation or personalised recommendation?
Yes, for a product recommendation, see the answer to "How can I find the right products for my hair type?". If there are more questions, we are happy to suggest a qualified curl cutting expert near you. Alternatively, you can have a look at our trusted salon stockists. We have various stockists all over South Africa. You can locate your nearest stockist by entering your location here.
16. Do you have a loyalty or rewards program?
Yes! We have an affiliate program. It's a great way for you to earn a commission off purchases by your audience/peers. You receive a 10% commission on a new customer's order for the first 6 months. They checkout using your unique discount code. You can sign up here.
Ordering and Shipping
17. Do I need to register to place an order?
No, there is no need to create an account or register to place an order. You can simply add your desired products to the cart and proceed to checkout.
18. How do I create an order?
Each product has an 'add to cart' button. Once complete, you can click on the cart icon and proceed to checkout, where you will be guided through entering your delivery details and making payment.
19. How do I make payment?
We accept the following payments: EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer), instant payment via Payfast (online payment gateway). We also have two interest-free payment plan options:
Pay Just Now: Select the Pay Just Now option at checkout, complete a quick form for a credit check, make an initial payment right away, and we’ll send out your products. The remaining two payments will be automatically deducted from your account over the next two months.
Happy Pay: With Happy Pay, you can order and receive your items with no upfront payment or deposit. The full sale amount is spread over your next two pay cheques; 50% in month one and 50% in month two - interest-free!

20. How do I track my order?
Once you place an order, you will receive an email with your order number. When the order is collected by the courier, you will receive another email with a link to track the order.
Please ensure your email address is correct before you place the order. If you don’t get the email, get in touch with us so that we can assist you with tracking queries.
21. How long does delivery take?
Orders within Gauteng: 1 - 2 business days for processing.
Orders outside Gauteng: 2 - 4 business days for processing.
International orders: Timing varies depending on the courier used.
22. Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we offer international shipping to select locations. Please contact us to confirm if we can ship to your specific location.
23. How much is shipping?
Local (SA):
Door to Door delivery: R100
Pargo Collection: R70
International: Customers can enter their address to get a basic shipping quote, which varies depending on the location.
24. Can I collect my order?
Yes, if you are in Johannesburg. Simply select collection at checkout page.

25. How do I edit my account information?
If you need to update your details, kindly send an email to admin@intrinsicurlyme.co.za and let us know which details are changing. We will gladly update it for you.
26. How do I edit my order?
To edit an order, contact us as soon as possible (email admin@intrinsicurlyme.co.za, WhatsApp 0710350513, or phone our landline at 011 202 5337) to find out if the order has been sent yet or if changes can be made.
If the order has already left with the courier, we cannot make changes, and you need to refer to the Exchange Policy in our Refunds & Returns Policy.
27. How do I cancel my order?
An order can only be cancelled if it has not yet been processed, so contact us as soon as possible to find out if cancellation is possible. If not, refer to the Cancellation Policy in our Refunds & Returns Policy.

31. Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, online vouchers only. Gift cards are delivered to the recipient via email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees. They are sold in denominations of R100, R250, R500, and R1000. You can purchase online vouchers here.
32. Do you offer any discounts or promotions?
