1. Using a diffuser is one of the best ways to dry your curls while protecting your natural pattern and minimising frizz. Here are some tips on diffusing your curls for the best results:

2. Always keep your dryer on low to medium heat and speed. This gentler airflow helps maintain definition and reduces the risk of frizz.

3. If you have wavy or curly hair and want to boost volume, gently flip your head upside down and diffuse upwards, focusing on the roots. Once the front section is mostly dry, turn your head gently to one side and repeat the process. Then turn your head to the other side and diffuse again. Finish by returning to an upright seated position and continue diffusing the rest of your hair. Turning your head as you diffuse helps create more balanced volume and a rounder overall shape.

4. If you have tightly textured or afro hair, diffusing upright and hovering the diffuser over your curls is often most effective. You don’t need to flip your head — simply allow the diffuser to gently dry your curls in place without disturbing their pattern.

5. When gathering your hair into the bowl of the diffuser, let your curls fall in naturally. Avoid forcing them into position.

If your hair is fine or prone to frizz, here's a helpful tip: after scooping a section of hair into the diffuser bowl and drying it for a short while, turn the dryer off before removing the diffuser from your head. Then scoop the next section, turn the dryer back on, and continue. This avoids blowing your curls out of place as you move between sections.

7. Diffuse gently around your head in sections until your hair is about 90% dry.

8. Once your curls are 100% dry, scrunch upward with your hands to break any product cast and reveal soft, bouncy, and defined curls.
