The Kick Your Brass toning cleanser somewhat disappointed me. I was really excited to try it, as I love most ICM products, but it doesn't cleanse well at all. At best I would describe it as a co-wash, although it doesn't cleanse as well as the Mint to Be co-wash. My hair and scalp didn't feel clean, and on day 2 it was already feeling like it had build-up, where it's usually soft and bouncy. I'll try using it after a clarifying shampoo, hopefully that will make a difference!

It’s not intended to deeply cleanse, so it does sound like your scalp and hair may be in need of a deeper reset. We recommend doing a clarifying shampoo followed by a deep conditioning treatment before using the toning cleanser again. That combo often makes a big difference! We’d love to hear how it goes once you’ve tried it that way.

I only used this product twice now, I see a difference in my grey, they're no more yellowish, but beautifully silver.
My hairdresser advised me to use a "purple" shampoo to stop my colour going brassy. I haven't been able to find a curly friendly one until now. I have only used it twice so not sure it works for that but my hair feels great.
