3 Ways to use The One And Only Creamy Conditioner

We may sound like a stuck record but the most important thing for curls is moisture. Yes protein is important (we'll have another blog post about that soon) but moisture is where curl formation begins.

That's why we are such big fans of The One & Only Creamy Conditioner (the vanilla smell is so good you may be tempted to taste test it ... but please don't).

With water as its first ingredient you can use it 3 ways.

Here's how you use this moisture magnet:

1️⃣ As a regular rinse out conditioner

1. Apply onto sopping wet hair after cleansing or cowashing.
2. Smooth down the cuticles of your hair using a downwards milking motion.
3. Gather your hair in your hand and 'squish to condish'.
4. Rinse well off the scalp.
5. You can choose whether to leave some conditioner on your ends.
6. Follow with the Creme De La Curl Creme & Hold Me Baby Curly Hair Gel.

2️⃣ As a deep conditioning hair mask

1. Apply onto sopping wet hair after cleansing or cowashing.
2. Wrap your head in plastic wrap, clingfilm, or a plastic shower cap.
3. Now add warmth to allow the conditioner to penetrate deeply into the hair shaft. Here are a few ways to do this:

In the sun: Keep your shower cap on and sit in the sun. Simple and effective!

Indoors: Wrap a towel over your shower cap. This traps your body heat and creates a warm environment for the conditioner to work its magic.

On colder days: Wrap a towel over your shower cap, then use a hairdryer on a low heat setting to gently warm the towel.

4. Leave for 20–30 minutes using whichever method works best for you.
5. Smooth down the cuticles of your hair using a downwards milking motion once you are back in the shower.
6. Gather your hair in your hand and 'squish to condish'.
7. Rinse well.
8. Follow with the Creme De La Curl Creme & Hold Me Baby Curly Hair Gel.

3️⃣ As a leave-in conditioner

1. Apply onto sopping wet hair after cleansing or cowashing.
2. Smooth down the cuticles of your hair using a downwards milking motion.
3. Gather your hair in your hand and 'squish to condish'.
4. Rinse well off the scalp. Once out the shower re-apply a small amount to mid-lengths and ends. Applying once you are out of the shower will ensure more precise and even distribution.
5. Squish to condish again.
6. Follow with the Creme De La Curl Creme & Hold Me Baby Curly Hair Gel.
